USPA Powerlifting Meet Prep – 11 weeks out


hey guys welcome back to my channel it’s
Brie OCD and Lou dog here and you’re about to hear all about 11 weeks out
week 6 my food my mood my workouts and more remember if you like my channel

prepping too! week six eleven weeks out lets goooo it’s Brie OCD time baby so I stepped
on the scale this morning I was 106.8 which is 48.5 kilograms I need
to be 48 kilograms for this meet so I am right on track baby top of the morning
to you it is 11 weeks out week 6 that’s getting confusing to remember we are
still in the hypertrophy strength phase so if you’re missing some of my warm-ups
or accessory work just head to my first week of powerlifting videos I’ll put a
card up at the top we are doing a top set today of bench at 120 by 3 I haven’t
done that in a long time so wish me luck people day 1 week 6 let’s go home week 6 day one in the books I hit that
top set of 120 by three on bench let’s go so excited squats still felt funky
like my foot positioning im too wide then I go too narrow I need to figure
this out but I did em day two in the books I don’t know why I
always say that but it’s in the books I did deadlifts max at 80% but I don’t
have a conventional one rep max so I based it off around 275 so I did 15 reps
at 215 I’m gonna go ice right now and then we did these 3-way deadlifts I
didn’t know what that meant I thought it meant like sumo conventional maybe a
middle stance but it wasn’t it was pausing below the knee pausing above the
knee and then pausing in the mid thigh area uh they didn’t feel that good so I
went super light on those at about 165 I think I did day 2 muscle class tonight I
did a little yoga this morning went to the chiropractor today at two and now I am
heading to more work to do a loan doc signing so I never sleep day 3 bench and accessory work in the
books I did pretty good on bench it took me longer than I expected because I had
to keep waiting to ask somebody for a spot but overall good I did 6 sets by 2
at 100 and then I did 3 sets at 105 so not too shabby 4 feet up paused good to
go in my book and then I chickened out on the dips do I look like that emoji I
chickened out because I didn’t want to hurt and tweak that chest piece anymore
it was pretty tight after 35 push-ups 20, 15 15 I did a lot oop beeeep I did a lot of
push-ups today so I just did four sets of 5 reps of dips so overall good day my
upper body is just toasted so toasted Happy Wednesday day 4 front squats it is
still dark out you can barely see my face but heading into P 360 with all my
friends Kropp is here today mullet too but hopefully my back holds up because
it is still cranky from those 15 deadlifts at
215 pounds so heading in Thursday day 4 day hello day 4 in the books Kroppy
today he was a superstar on film with Helton media front squats felt like
death until they felt a little better by the end I was a little bit warmed up but
overall day four working out with my buddy
so remember when I said front squats felt terrible this morning well they
did at 1:45 so I went down but I can’t count and I went down to 125 instead of
135 no wonder why they felt so much better
I ended at 135 but I thought it was 145 and I was like oh this feels so good now
that I’m warmed up your girl can’t count but anyways I know Brenna would have
wanted me to go lighter and not struggle as much and use my quads so all in all I
think I did all right day 5 Friday and this is the last day
for this week for me because I’m heading to Tahoe tonight to go skiing with carm
and Pomeroy let’s go whoo but today is forward lunges let’s hope
my little knees hold up they’ve been they’ve been bugging me a little bit
look it I look like a mime and here I’m in the car I look like I’m like at a show
and that filter on the camera but anyways day 5 let’s get in there peace
day five in the books forward lunges I just went super super light like 75
pounds putting my ego aside to save my knees and it worked because they felt
fine at that light weight day 5 heading a Tahoe baby
