The army has been using the Claymore since the Year 1961, during the Vietnam War So I came out to Camp Hansen to figure out why the Claymore is such a valuable asset to the US Army So the event here we trained on how to use a claymore mine and my role as the operator was, I prepared to mine. I took care of everything has to go in between the explosion and prepping it. We’re US Army soldiers here in Okinawa and being able to employ a Claymore successfully. It’s just another tool in our bag th at we could use in case of a defensive posture that we needed to do Its training like this that ensures that US Army soldiers complete their mission reporting from Okinawa, Japan I’m Lance Corporal Moises Rodriguez. FIRE IN THE HOLE, FIRE IN THE HOLE, FIRE IN THE HOLE!
