Morning “Fitness” Routine (ANYONE CAN DO THIS!)

Morning “Fitness” Routine (ANYONE CAN DO THIS!)

What’s up, guys? Jeff Cavaliere, ATHLEANX.COM. It doesn’t get any more behind-the-scenes
than this. You guys have wanted to see what is it that I do exactly in my life. Well, you know, it really starts here in the
morning with one tip that I feel like you should really start doing. Make it a habit because it’s going to make
a big difference in your physique over the long term. The very first thing that I do when I wake
up, here, this is a bed head and all, I wake up and I grab my glass of water that’s right
next to my bathroom sink. And I drink 2 full glasses of it. It’s about
16 ounces. You can drink even a little bit more, but it’s a little bit hard to maybe
stomach too much water especially if you’re starting this habit. The reason why, and remember guys, your muscles
are 75 percent water. Your brain cells are 85 percent water. You’ve just gone 8 hours, hopefully if you’re
sleeping enough, without anything. No hydration at all. You would never do that during the
day if you were awake. As a matter of fact, I hope you wouldn’t if
you’re following this channel, but if you do, you’ve got to do something about replenishing
it quickly. So if you give it this little boost here,
some even German researchers will say this will boost your metabolism for 90 minutes
after doing it if you drink cold water. I’m not really doing it for that reason. I’m
doing it just for the hydration benefits and making sure that we don’t start our day dehydrated
and then try to play catch up the whole rest of the day Especially if coffee is part of your morning
ritual, all you’re going to do is further dehydrate yourself. If you get your jump start
right here, it will make an enormous difference in how
you feel, and an enormous difference in how your muscles can perform that day being that they’re not dehydrated anymore,
and an enormous difference over the long term about what our physique will look like. So, you know, hopefully these really quick
behind-the-scenes, Jeff grab your camera and go shoot a tip, will be very helpful for you
because I really do believe it’s the cornerstone of
what I do the very first thing in the morning. Alright guys. If you found this helpful, make
sure you leave a thumb’s up. If you want to see maybe more of these ‘what
I’m doing in my daily life’ tips, just let me know and I can try to bring some more to
you. Alright guys, I’ll talk to you again soon..

  1. being shredded is hard I've been trying to eat healthy but I'm naturally fat and both of my parents are fat and even though I'm making gains I can't get shredded because my food options are pizza bread, cheezy bread, or hot pockets…

  2. Yes Jeff, we absolutely want to see and know the little things you do from home, which is everyday life, like you did in this video. Some of us are in our forties and fifties now and no longer throwing around the free weights like we did in our 20's. Personally, I've been dealing with muscle imbalances for the past couple decades due to an injury stemming from a past football career and have been finding great success bringing my body back into balance working with resistance bands, and a lot of it is due to information provided by you. Thanks and keep em' coming.

  3. Great tip, as you say, it isn't diet, it's nutrition, and all of healthy habits must be kept. Myself as athlete have adopted this morning routine, I also take some piece of fruit after the water. This is a lifestyle… It would be great if you keep sharing this tips with us, excellence hides in the details 👍🏻

  4. JDCav24 definitely do more at home behind the scenes quick tips like this, so helpful dude, thanks for posting your vids man, I'm seeing gains…

  6. My first thing in the morning drink is… 18 oz. of water with 1 tsp. red pepper, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. ground ginger powder, 3 tbs. raw apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp. honey.  I then wait a half hour to eat breakfast.

  7. I guess this couldn't come at a more perfect time.. was feeling a bit depleted last 1-2 weeks. I wasn't drinking enough water as I got up. add 2 cups of black coffee to that. I'll try and see how this affects. Thanks for the video Jeff.

  8. Sorry Jeff, but the myth about coffee boosting dehydration was debunked in January 2014.

  11. My tip for u firstly Jeff is stop drinking tap water especially from your bathroom. Invest in a nikken waterfall if you know what's good for you 👌🏾

  12. Showering in tap water is bad enough. Now I have to drink, no way Jose. I'll drink distilled h2o instead.

  13. been doing this for 4 months now. def noticed a difference in energy and generally feeling better. throw in 25 push ups or just some squats you'll be good to go.

  19. Hi Jeff what's the best morning routine I search long time try to do weight or anything else but what's the best don't find it for myself can u give me a Tipp what u mean Thanks.

  20. Jeff is my fitness Guru and I think that no-one knows more than training and fitness than him. I follow the Athlean-X training plan but coming out of a month long intermitted fasting routine (which brought wonderful results for weight-lose) does cause me to have some issues with the X-factor meal plan, but I am trying to deal with them a long the way. In regards to this video adding a few points from another esteemed gentleman from the fitness/nutrition world called Thomas Delauer could only benefit in my opinion. There is btw nothing I would rather see on youtube than a discussion between Jeff and Thomas on the topic of intermitted fasting, fasted training and nutrition in general. Rehydrating when waking up us a GREAT tip and we should all do this. Drinking coffee should be postponed one hour after waking up not to collide with the high level of cortisol naturally have in our body in the morning to kick us into gear. Drinking coffee will further help the body mobilize fat that has been burned during your sleep. However drinking TOO much water can also cause dehydration as strange as it may sound at first but the reason being that the fluid we have in our bodies that we call "water" isn't pure water at all – its packed with electrolytes, vitamins and minerals. Our body can only hold X-amount of water and the rest is being auto-regulated our of our system though peeing so drinking too much water has the negative effect of washing out the important electrolytes the body needs.

  21. I started drinking water every morning, now I’m shitting 2-3x per day and and my farts smell different😐

  22. Hey Jef, I read an article that suggest that your testosterone levels are at their highest strait after you wake up and gradually decrease durring the day. The same article also talks about how people that work out in the moring not too long after waking up their testosterons levels wil drop up to 30% less durring the day. I was hoping you could clear some things up.
