Staying motivated and in the routine and also staying motivated on a strict diet Pretty much you have to have the discipline.. You have to fit your bodybuilding lifestyle into your current lifestyle. Let’s be honest. Seeing improvements is gonna be a motivating factor to anyone. That’s really what gave me the drive and the motivation .. .. Anyone that’s good at something obviously strives to be better and better. They wanna see how far their potential actually goes. And I think that’s the same thing with trying to see with the weight training Getting your body in the right condition, whether it to be a bodybuilder or just to be fit or basically to lose body-fat.. I think anything in progression and success is gonna give you that edge. Basically what I try to do is I’m on a low carb diet where I eat higher protein. I restrict the carbs so I burn off body-fat, but give your body enough carbs to get through the training. So basically eating most of my carbohydrates around my training. One big carb meal before training and one big carb meal after training. Remember, bodybuilding.. And I stress this over and over.. It takes a pattern of a lot of things. But it’s mainly working for the pump and doing repetitions. It’s not about one or two or three or four reps.. It’s about 8 to 12 repetitions, getting constant blood flow to the muscle in order to get that round muscle look. The best thing to do is plan ahead. A lot of people just try to go by the flow and that’s not always the best way because active life gets in the way. It was always just trying to get enough to get that blood flow in there, pump the muscle up, get out of the gym and feed the body. 8 plates.. Piece of cake. Looking a little sharper every day. Finding the set pattern, fitting those meals in there to fuel the workouts, and setting that set routine where you’re day in day out following the same program.. That will allow yourself to make improvements. Seeing improvements is gonna be a motivating factor
