The Gaza Strip is under a temporary truce.
Israel’s military operation launched on April 6 is targeting militants and militants’ rocket launchers.
The Gaza truce, which expired on Friday, is being reviewed by the international community.
The U.N. Security Council will meet later this month and could decide to approve a ceasefire that would end the hostilities and allow for an end to the fighting.
The Israeli military launched Operation Protective Edge, which began on May 3 and lasted two weeks, killing at least 3,200 Palestinians, including more than 1,200 children, as well as hundreds of Israeli soldiers.
