When you start a fitness journey, first you have to decide why you are going to start this fitness journey. like you want to become lean, want to bulk up, want to compete in bodybuilding competitions, or else you want to become fit. or am going to an office, so I want to look good in my outfit. it can be anything. But before deciding, think well and decide. Because your goal is an important reason to choose your fitness activity and your diet. Friends, now you have decided your goal. Next, you are going to choose a fitness activity Think well and choose a fitness activity that best fits your goal. With this fitness activity, you are going to achieve your goal. Like running, walking, swimming, cross-fit training or resistance training. Before choosing a fitness activity, make sure that fitness activity will help your goal. An example, if you are trying to compete in a bodybuilding competition, the only way to achieve is to workout in a gym. Instead of that, running and eating high protein foods are not going to help you. So a fitness activity is very important for goal achievement. Now you have chosen your fitness goal and fitness activity. Next, you have to choose your workout time. Which session you are going to work out? Everyone says working out in the morning is good. But that’s not true. Even if you workout in the evening, you’ll get results. So choose a time that’s perfect for you. We practised to say reasons like I slept, am feeling tired, like it was a long day at office. So choose a workout session to avoid these reasons. Suppose if you are regularly working out in the morning, and you can’t work out a day in the morning, then workout in the evening. Don’t ever skip a session. Any fitness activity requires accessories. So buy a good shoe. A good shoe in today’s market costs around 400 rs – 3000rs, 4000rs. You might think whether a shoe is necessary? It’s an option. But if you are running or walking, The shoe is a necessity. You know very well our roads are not safe. So buy a good shoe, it’ll help for sure. Next important accessory is a headset. It’s an option, but suppose if you are working out or a fitness activity like running or walking, If you lack concentration or focus listen to your favourite songs or download workout music and listen. Nowadays, everyone says they are on a diet and diet has many types like a keto diet, paleo diet, intermittent fasting, etc., So I’ll explain different types of diets in the upcoming videos. When I started my fitness journey, I followed a low carb diet. That is Low carb + high protein. Nowadays, people follow a diet because their friends have followed that diet. Remember friends, your friend’s fitness goal and fitness activity may be different, your goal and fitness activity may be different. So choose a diet that best fits your goal and fitness activity. Suppose if you don’t know which diet to follow, then follow a diet for a month. At least follow that diet for a month properly. If you get results well and good. Follow the same diet. If you didn’t get results, then follow another diet. Follow that diet for a month. So follow a diet and see which diet fits perfect for your goal and fitness activity. Surely, you’ll get results. Next, you have to choose is the time frame. Set a margin for every month. Like you have to lose 3-4 kgs, suppose if you are lean, and you want to increase the bodyweight by 4-5 kgs. or if you have a high body fat percentage, plan to lose at least 2-3%. So you fix a margin that you require. Most importantly, set a realistic margin. Don’t think to lose 10-15kgs in a month if you are starting your fitness journey. It’s possible but, when you start set a smaller margin if you achieved that margin increase your margin. For eg: If you are planning to lose 5kgs this month, and you have lost 5 kgs in 20 days, then aim for 7 kgs. So you know you have lost 7 kgs. So next month increase the margin to 10kgs. So if you have achieved your goal before your expectation, then increase the margin. Surely, you can achieve your goal. We all commit one mistake in a fitness journey, we had been eating well for a year or two and we join a gym and We expect to lose weight in a month or expect to get a six-pack in two months. It’s not possible. Any fitness journey takes time and you have to be patient to succeed. As we all know Rome wasn’t built in a day. So patience is very important in a fitness journey. We are always inconsistent. We do any fitness activity for a week and if we don’t get results, we stop doing the fitness activity. But remember friends, when you start a fitness activity, your body should be adapted to it. After that only you’ll see results. So any fitness activity takes at least 2-4 weeks to see changes in your body. So, follow your routine properly, you’ll surely get results. First, know which motivates you. Find out why you started this journey because that is your motivation. Like your friends are teasing you because you are fat, or I like to dress like before, or I want to become lean or bulk up for my girlfriend/boyfriend So the reason can be anything. Know the reason which motivates you, and think about it always. You’ll achieve your goal. After a fitness journey, the most important thing you have to do is to celebrate. show this world what you have done. Take a small break. Go for a trip with your friends. Go for photoshoots and most importantly share on social networks like facebook, twitter, Instagram, etc., You have to do this because your friends may be motivated seeing your achievement and they can start their fitness journey too. So after you achieve a goal, share and celebrate it. So today I have shared important tips for a successful fitness journey. First, choose your goal next, choose a fitness activity. Then choose which session is perfect for your workout like morning or evening or even afternoon. Then based on that fitness activity, buy accessories like shoes, workout wear, headsets, etc., Buy whatever you want. Then, most important, follow a proper diet. It’ll help you to get results. Because fitness activity is just 20-30%, rest is diet. So follow the diet, you’ll ger results for sure. Then set a realistic time frame, like how you want to transform in 1 month, 3 months, 6 months. Plan your time frame based on your goal and fitness activity. Throughout this fitness journey, be patient Nothing happens overnight. Be consistent and never skip a session. Most important Find a reason that motivates you and use that reason as motivation and push yourself.
