How much will Obamacare be worth in 2019?
Democrats are warning they’ll be “upset” by a potential $1 trillion cut in funding for Obamacare if Republicans pass their ObamaCare replacement plan, according to a new survey.
The survey from Quinnipiac University found the bill would cost $1.4 trillion over the next 10 years and could cost up to 40 percent more than the House-passed bill.
The savings are due to a change in how federal spending is distributed in the bill.
The poll, which surveyed 1,004 registered voters between Sept. 16 and Oct. 2, found 47 percent oppose the legislation, compared with 36 percent in favor.
The legislation would eliminate some Obamacare subsidies, reduce funding for Medicaid, and end a requirement that most states set up insurance markets for people with pre-existing conditions.
The Senate has passed a $1-trillion bill, but President Donald Trump has vowed to veto it.
