Better Back Program- Cairns Physio Exercise, education and treatment for back pain.


– I’m Suzanne, from
Wellness Embodied in Cairns. Today, I want to talk
to you about back pain. Do you struggle to manage your back pain? Perhaps you’ve had a history
of back pain flare-ups, maybe once or twice a year, you feel like your back ‘goes’. You maybe have had sciatica. Maybe you’ve changed some of the things that you do in your personal life, in order to avoid getting
back pain again in future. If any of these sound like you, then our Better Back Program
is the thing for you. It’s basically an eight-week long program of evidence and research
based exercise, education and an initial assessment led
by our awesome physio, Alyza. Starting on the 24th of February, it will run for eight
consecutive Monday nights, one break for Easter Monday, so it will end on the 20th of April, from five until 5:45. There is a different theme for each week, ranging from how the
brain interprets pain, to the right type of exercises to do, to the effects of weight
loss on your back pain. You’ll also leave with some homework, some information for you to use at home, and, basically, a much
better understanding of your back pain, so that you can prevent
back pain in the future and manage any flare-ups
if they do return. Basically, we want to get you
back to living your best life. If you’re interested in
